New activity: hiking with our dogs in and around Graz, and teaching some tricks during that. Exhaustion guaranteed!

On our first hike we start from Schloss St. Martin, walk to the Kronprinz-Rudolf Warte (the lookout tower is closed during the winter), on our way down we check the view towards west at the Aussichtsplatform Buchkogel – Schau West, and then continue our descend back to Schloss St. Martin.
Distance: 7 km
Elevation: 200 m
Duration: 2-3 hours
Difficulty level: normal, doable with normal level of fitness. Hiking boots recommended.
Meeting point: Schloss St. Martin, upper parking lot (P3)
Meeting time: 09:00
Dogs with basic obedience (recall, sit, down, stay) may participate. Sick or aggressive dogs, and bitches in heat are not welcome.
Participation fee: €20 / team. One owner with more than one dog or one dog with multiple owners pay the price once only. Please let me know whether you wish to pay in cash or by transfer later.

During our hike pictures will be taken and posted on Canis Ludens – Dog training, daycare Facebook page
Please bring:
– lot of treats
– long leash, preferably NOT flexi, but a normal 5/10/15 m long running leash (Schleppleine)
– water and drinking bowl
– poopbags
Also good to have:
– wet wipes
– towel
– clicker (if your dog was trained with)
Please don’t feed other dogs without the permission of the owner!
